Working draft, not reviewed by a solicitor
This sets out what we intend, in plain English, so you can see our position today. It will be reviewed and finalised with legal advice before Setful launches. Please do not rely on it as a finished agreement.
- Who we are
- Setful is a product of CODEHARDY LTD, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for account data, and a processor for the customer data your business puts into Setful.
- What we hold
- Account details for your team. Business records you create: customers, contacts, venues, quotes, jobs, inventory, crew and messages. Operational records: scans, audit entries, and delivery logs for the email we send on your behalf.
- Why
- To run the service you asked for, keep it secure and auditable, and meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping.
- Your customers
- People who receive a quote or booking link from you are your contacts, not ours. We process their data on your instructions and never market to them.
- Retention
- Account and business records last for the life of your subscription plus a defined wind-down period. Audit records are kept longer, because their whole value is that they cannot be quietly changed.
- Your rights
- Access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, under UK GDPR. Email privacy@codehardy.com.
- Sub-processors
- Hosting, database, email delivery and error reporting. The list is available on request and will be published here before launch.
