Accessibility

We aim at WCAG 2.2 AA. Here is how far we have got.

Across the marketing site, the office application, the crew app, the storefront and the documents Setful generates. Last reviewed on 1 September 2026 by us, which is not the same as an audit, and we are not going to describe it as one.

Implemented

What is in place

  • Every control has a real label, and required fields carry that requirement in the markup rather than only an asterisk.
  • Status is never colour alone. Every state pairs a colour with words.
  • A visible focus ring on every interactive element, in both light and dark mode.
  • Semantic headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
  • Crew app buttons are 48px, usable one-handed and with gloves on.
  • Reduced motion is respected across the whole product.
  • Charts are decoration beside a real number in a real table.
  • The calendar grid is repeated underneath as a plain list.
  • Printed documents stay readable in black and white.
  • Dark mode is a designed palette rather than an inverted filter.

Not tested

What we have not done

  • An independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit. Everything so far is our own testing.
  • Screen readers across the full matrix (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) on every screen.
  • Automated accessibility rules in the build. The test suite checks structure, not the full ruleset.
  • A skip-to-content link in the office application.

Tell us where it fails you

If any part of Setful is difficult or impossible for you to use, email marcos@codehardy.com. Say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will reply, and we will tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it.

Have an accessibility requirement we must meet?

Tell us before you buy. We would rather lose the sale than sell you something your team cannot use.
